Nowadays, Online Streaming Services have become popular because of their convenience and accessibility. This means every person who owns an internet-connected device also can limitlessly consume all the online media whenever they want. That is why I only focuses on Netflix which is considered as the undisputed king of streaming. Netflix is a streaming service allowing a person who subscribe to watch a various genres of TV shows, movies, documentaries, and more. Even though there are a lot of streaming services for people to consume such as Disney+, HBO Max, HBO GO, Amazon Prime TV, or Apple TV+, Netflix is indeed the most popular service regarding the number of subscribers. In 2021, Netflix gained 221.8 million paid subscribers globally which was the largest number among all streaming services (Maglio, 2022).

Lately at this time, there are movies from many different countries releasing within such service to be explored, certainly including Thai films. They can be found out not only for modern films, but also for classic films such as ‘Santi-Vina’ released in 1954, or ‘The Citizen’ released in 1977. Moreover, there are some movies that were nominated to international film award releasing in the application as well. For instance, ‘The Medium,’ directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun, won the award ‘Best of Bucheon’ in 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN), South Korea. This phenomenal can be predicted that the film industry in Thailand has been gradually grown up after the intense situation of Covid-19 epidemic that negatively affect almost all fields around the world.
